OUR PASTOR
Disciple of Jesus Christ, husband, father, and small business owner, Rich Delamar is the Senior Pastor of Greater Hope Christian Church. Having received Christ as a young man in his early 20s, Pastor Delamar answered his call to ministry in the year 2000.
Prior to planting Greater Hope in 2015, Pastor Delamar served in ministry for 14 years at Light of the World Christian Tabernacle, under the awesome leadership of the late Archbishop Jimmie Lee Smith and Pastor Ruth Smith. He was ordained in 2009 and was installed at the Light as Area Pastor for Conyers and Covington in 2013.
An anointed man of God who is committed to the work of discipleship, Pastor Delamar heard the voice of God concerning the planting of Greater Hope while praying with his wife, Pastor Silvia Delamar, on New Years Eve 2014. On February 14, 2015, Greater Hope Christian Church was birthed and its members shared their first communion as a church family.
Pastor Delamar studied Theology and Christian Counseling at Liberty University. He is a mechanical engineer boasting an industry career of 25 years. He owns and operates a successful luxury day spa in Stockbride, Georgia. He is married to Silvia Delamar, who serves as General Pastor at Greater Hope. They share two children, Jordan and Mia.
OUR GENERAL PASTOR
An anointed woman of God who vividly recalls the moment in the year 2000 when she first heard the voice of God about the call on her life and shortly after prophesied to her husband, Pastor Rich Delamar, that he would preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as pastor a church, Silvia Delamar is General Pastor at Greater Hope Christian Church.
Pastor Silvia is committed to the up-building of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and therefore serves alongside her husband at Greater Hope. She is an evangelist and teacher of the Gospel, fired up for Jesus and on the battlefield to win souls. Prior to the planting of Greater Hope, Pastor Silvia served faithfully in ministry at Light of the World Christian Tabernacle, under the awesome leadership of the late Archbishop Jimmie Lee Smith and Pastor Ruth Smith.
As a small business owner and married mother of two, Pastor Silvia has a special anointing and grace on her life to minister to couples and to educate the body of Christ about financial prosperity and entrepreneurship. For many years, she and her husband have hosted conferences, led seminars, and taught classes on healthy marriages, matters of the heart, finances, and business ownership. Notable conferences and seminars that the Delamars developed and implemented include Matters of the Heart Youth Conference, Matters of the Heart Couples Conference, Til Death Do Us Part Series and Workshop, and Bible, Business, & Billionaires Seminar and Workshop.
Pastor Silvia is a practicing attorney and managing member of The Delamar Firm LLC with two locations, in Midtown Atlanta and Conyers.
